What is Depuravita?

Depuravita is a new on-line business that sells a wide variety of cold pressed juices, super-food shakes, soup, tea and Detox tea.

Sandra Nassina, the company’s CEO got inspired by juice diet trends in cities like New York or San Francisco to introduce them in Italy, and particularly in the city of Milan.

 

What where the project challenges?

Depuravita needed to implement citrus fruits juice extraction and Cold Press technologies that were capable of covering a large demand of juice. Furthermore, the company intended to maximise production time by means of functional, safe and compact equipment.

Like every on-line business, quick and precise delivery of products was an essential requirement for the business success, and, therefore, suppliers’ reliability was another key aspect of the project.

 

What was Zumex Food Engineering’s role?

Thanks to the implementation of new industrial citrus fruits juicers Speed Pro S +Plus and Mastery, Zumex’s cutting edge cold press juicer technology, a daily production of around 1200 top quality Cold Press juice was achieved.

All these juices are prepared on the spot and delivered to customers on the same day.

On the other hand, for the appropriate start-up of a business using our technology, Zumex has offered a completely customised consulting service. Our consulting services focus on improving production rates according to each recipe’s specific requirements and each customer’s available workshop space.

 

 

What is Depuravita business model like?

Depuravita sells to final consumers through its on-line shop.  It also distributes its  Cold Press juices to supermarket chains.  Among its partners there are some brands and companies that entirely represent Italy’s quality and style: aesthetic centres, hotels, fashion shops, training centres, etc.

Juice pressing, bottling and capping are carried out in specific facilities. Then, bottles are stored directly at low temperature to preserver fresh Cold Press juices properties.

Finally, the company also works in coordination with a HPP processing centre to extend the preservation of its recipes whereas consumption time needs to be longer.

Depuravita’s team of nutritionists has designed two complete nourishment programmes: maintenance programme and Detox programme,  to meet different needs and life styles.

Our programmes include all kinds of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidative substances from fruit, vegetable and superfoods recipes that are meant to cover the different objectives: energy support, cell protection against free radicals, anti-inflammatory properties, etc.
